Lee-Ann Coverly

Lee-Ann specializes in post-rehab exercise prescription and functional fitness and has over 10 years of training experience in the industry. She graduated from Mount Royal College in 1997 with her diploma in Physical Education and obtained her Personal Trainer Certificate through Mount Royal in 1999. Her certifications and education also includes Physicalmind Institute - Pilates mat Certification and Terry Kane PT - Post Rehab Exercise Prescription.

Lee-Ann is also our resident yoga instructor. She travelled to Mysore, India in 2003, spending three amazing months studying with her Yoga guru Sri.K Patthabi Jois at the AYRI (Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute). She also studies with her teachers in Maui, Hawaii twice a year.

Most of Lee-Ann's experience in the fitness industry has been either in medical or spa facilities including sailing the seas with Holland America Cruise lines, managing the gym/spa on the ships. She's also worked closely with a team in other medically supervised spas in Calgary. In her spare time Lee-Ann loves to play squash, hike, and mountain bike and her goal this summer is to run a half marathon.
